TOKU MAHI NA CALEB

My name is Caleb and my original birth place was in Christchurch and this is my fifth school.
My favourite things to do in my own time is riding my scooter, have basketball shots, play playstation,  play T-ball,play baseball.
I have 8 friends so far and that's a great start.
I have 6 pets ,4 chickens ,1 cat,1 dog. The chickens are called Lossy, No name, Ginger Ninja, and Pengu. The dogs name is Sid and the cats name is Oscar.

The London 2012 Summer Olympics had people from all over the world that competed in all sorts of sporting events. Usain Bolt the world record holder for 100m final with 9. 68 seconds.

KIA Ora.  I want to tell you about my favourite hobby...rugby, and I'm going to tell you why.

Rugby is a brilliant sport. Firstly you get to do a Hakka. Secondly you get to run heaps and finally my personal favourite.   You get to win!!

But there is just one problem!  There is always a bigger guy than you.  Once this massive prop ran straight at me and dislocated two of my fingers.   It hurt!!

So yeah, you do get hurt but I still think it's the most fun sport because you get to play with lots of your friends and have lots of fun.

BOOK WEEK, 2012

We have book week to encourage children to read books and to use the library.

During the week we did a Stop Drop and Read every day.  Other teachers came and read to us.

On parade day we all dressed up in our Book Character costumes and paraded around the town.

We thank Becky for organizing it for us.

TREASURE ISLAND

This story starts in the Admiral Ben bow, an inn.  Jim  Hawkins (played by Quin) works there.  Billy Bones (played by Shanty) comes to stay.  He has a map.  He was once a pirate, a member of Captain Flint's crew.  He is visited by Black Dog(Stevie )who fights him.  Then the evil Blind Pew (Sasha ) comes and scares him to death.

Jim gets the map.  He gets the Goodies, Dr Lives (Charlie ),  Mr Dance (Shannen ) and they hire a ship called the Hispaniola.  The captain is Captain Smollett (Mikaela ) who gets Long John Silver (Madison ) to collect a crew.  Long John Silver is evil and one of Captain Flint's pirates.  He collects all the other pirates and away they sail.

On the trip Jim  hears of a plot to kill them.  When they get to the island the Goodies go to the stockade.  The baddies go in search of the treasure.  An old pirate called Ben Gun (Zion ) who has been marooned, arrives and joins the goodies .

Jim takes off and sails the ship around the island.  The pirates have nowhere to go.  There's a big fight.  The pirates are winning until they hear Ben Gun who they think is a ghost of Captain Flint.  Ben screams horribly..

They all run away and the goodies find the treasure and sail back to England.

The show as a whole was slow

                           NEW BUiLDING

This morning at 9 30 we went to the unveiling for the new multi per pus room called Aniwaiwa witch means rainbow in ma0ri. All the class rooms had a chance to walk throw it and have a tour. They also unvaled a tukutuku panel and that was called whaea i te kahurangi.
