Hello.  Im Jordan.  My Toku Mahi means my work.   I like sports like rugby, cricket and much more.  I also like BMXing.  My favourite colours are red and black.  That's all by for now:D

There was a HUGE build up to the festival. Us year 7-8 people had a kiwiana stall at the festival.  We made loads of money with just our stall alone!

AWAROA TRIP

Rooms 1&2 are going on a trip to Awaroa via the big Wilson's boat. 

(Hope it doesn't sink).

The reason we went on tis trip was:

To learn the history and to make the history of Awaroa come alive!

The highlights for me were:

I liked the walk and seeing the old house.  I also liked going for a swim and the big Wilson's

We expanded our knowledge of our history in Awaroa.  We also got lots of exercise from the walk.

Ma Weekend!

On Saturday morning(10-3-12) my Dad,Sister, Brother and I went to Placemakers and got a sheet of ply because I want to build a fruit stall.  On my stall I will sell apples and kiwi fruit.  Later on that day we all went to the speedway!!  There were LOTS of stock cars.  There was even some side cars.  I have to go now my people:(PEACE OUT!

PLOT-

           Two kids go around the school trying to guess "Who's Behind The Door", then they open the door and see who's behind it. 

MAIN CHARACTER-

                                      William is the boy and Emma is the girl.

MY CHOSEN CHARACTER-

                                                  I chose William because he has a robot.

WHY I CHOSE THIS BOOK-

                                                  I chose this book because it is a good book to read if you're learning to read.

BOOKWEEK

Dudes from our class

We have book week to encourage children to read books and to use the library.

During the week we did a Stop Drop and Read every day.  Other teachers came and read to us.

On parade day we all dressed up in our Book Character costumes and paraded around the town.

We thank Becky for organizing it for us.

TREASURE ISLAND

This story starts in the Admiral Benbow, an inn.  Jim  Hawkins (played by Quin) works there.  Billy Bones (played by Shanti) comes to stay.  He has a map.  He was once a pirate, a member of Captain Flint's crew.  He is visited by Black Dog(Stevie )who fights him.  Then the evil Blind Pew (Sasha ) comes and scares him to death.

Jim gets the map.  He gets the Goodies, Dr Livesey (Charlie ),  Mr Dance (Shannen ) and they hire a ship called the Hispaniola.  The captain is Captain Smollett (Makayla ) who gets Long John Silver (Madison ) to collect a crew.  Long John Silver is evil and one of Captain Flint's pirates.  He collects all the other pirates and away they sail.

On the trip Jim  hears of a plot to kill them.  When they get to the island the Goodies go to the stockade.  The baddies go in search of the treasure.  An old pirate called Ben Gunn (Zion ) who has been marooned, arrives and joins the goodies .

Jim takes off and sails the ship around the island.  The pirates have nowhere to go.  There's a big fight.  The pirates are winning until they hear Ben Gunn who they think is a ghost of Captain Flint.  Ben screams horribly..

They all run away and the goodies find the treasure and sail back to England.

My favourite part was: When the lights went out .

My favourite character was: Jim (Quin) on guitar.

The show as a whole was: Very exciting,the noises where funny.

We thank the producer Smiddey and all the helpers.

THE OLYMPICS 

  View medal table!!! This year it was in London. We won a total of 13!!6 of them are gold!! That's good for a country with only 4mil people to choose from to take to the Olympics

New Building

On Monday the 29th of October the WHOLE school turned out to see opening of the new 

Multipurpose room.  The room was blessed by Whaea Gladys Taiangahue, when she blessed it she walked around the Building and tounched the walls.  When she came out she named the Building, it is now called Aniwaniwa.  We got told a story then we all got a kind of sweet.
