TURANGAWAEWAE FESTIVAL

At the turangawaewae festival there was heaps of stuff like:   Bouncy castles stores food and people.  Everyone was having a fun time.  There were heaps of people performing on stage like Zumba Jump jam group High school dancers and Vanuatu singers.   Turangawaewae festival is for cultures to show off their moves.

Yesterday at the Huia club rooms the Duffy people came .  The  characters were Scruffy Duffy and the best book in the world. They haven 't done that many shows . But the show
as cool and awesome.

AWAROA RECOUNTS

BOOK WEEK REVIEW

TITLE  Tin Tin flight 714

SETTING air port and jungle

PLOT Its when tin tin and that go on a plane and they fly to a island.   They've been  captured after they escape they go into a cave they find a entrance and they go into it after they saw lava and then they know thats its a volcano.

MAIN CHARACTER tin tin and the captain

CHOSEN CHARACTER tin tin because he's cool 

WHY I CHOSE THIS BOOK Because the cover looked cool.

CHARACTER INFORMATION Tin tin does adventures and the captain is funny.

BOOK WEEK 

We have book week because it gets people into reading books

During the week we had to drop everything and read and we had to do a book review

On Friday we did a book parade every one had to dress up some people did and some people didn't

Hairy Pirate

We started at the school and walked up town and then walked pass the kindergarten.

THEATRE ROYAL

We went for a trip to the theatre royal on wednesday .Its about a girl who wants to be a firework maker her dad does'nt want her to be a firework maker the daughter has to get some royal solpher and then she can be a firework maker in it there were real fireworks.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

TREASURE ISLAND

This story starts in the Admiral Benbow, an inn.  Jim  Hawkins (played by Quin) works there.  Billy Bones (played by Shanti) comes to stay.  He has a map.  He was once a pirate, a member of Captain Flint's crew.  He is visited by Black Dog(Stevie )who fights him.  Then the evil Blind Pew (Sasha ) comes and scares him to death.

Jim gets the map.  He gets the Goodies, Dr Livesey (Charlie ),  Mr Dance (Shannen ) and they hire a ship called the Hispaniola.  The captain is Captain Smollett (Makayla ) who gets Long John Silver (Madison ) to collect a crew.  Long John Silver is evil and one of Captain Flint's pirates.  He collects all the other pirates and away they sail.

On the trip Jim  hears of a plot to kill them.  When they get to the island the Goodies go to the stockade.  The baddies go in search of the treasure.  An old pirate called Ben Gunn (Zion ) who has been marooned, arrives and joins the goodies .

Jim takes off and sails the ship around the island.  The pirates have nowhere to go.  There's a big fight.  The pirates are winning until they hear Ben Gunn who they think is a ghost of Captain Flint.  Ben screams horribly..

They all run away and the goodies find the treasure and sail back to England.

My favourite part was when it ended

The show as a whole was awesome
